T-Pain Claims Akon Used Brother As Body Double To Perform At Shows
A significant disclosure involving singer Aliaune Damala Badara Akon Thiam, better known by his stage as Akon, has been made by American rapper Faheem Rashad Najim, also known as T-Pain.
The All I Do Is Win singer stated in an interview that Akon had previously used his brother, Abou Thiam, as a body double to appear at events while he was busy performing elsewhere.
Prior to the development of social media and around the time Akon's hit song, "Locked Up," was released, according to T-Pain, he did this.
The 37-year-old said to DJ Akademiks, his interviewer, "I came up with Bou was playing performances for Akon, dude."
But the latter didn't believe him, telling him to "stop it, that never happened."
T-Pain emphasized, "Are you that naive, my nigga?" in response.
"These niggas were getting double the shows every motherfuckin' month because Bou would go and slip friggin... shows for Akon," he continued to emphasize.
If you didn't already know it, you are a garbage fan. In 2000, this was taking place, T-Pain continued.
Who would enter the stage and claim to be Akon while lip-syncing the song's lyrics as best they could? They would always pay for that shit.
