Tell us a little about yourself with a focus on what motivates you.

What motivates me to do what I do is all the beautiful women in my life. We are so strong for our kids, our partners, our family but who is strong for them? I have gone through heart break after heart break from giving my all to people that didn’t deserve my love. But the one person that I wasn’t giving love to was myself. I just want to show women that there is so much to love within themselves and to stop depending on outside factors to get the love they truly deserve.

When did you establish your company and where did the idea originate?

I officially started my company about 6 months ago but this was a life long journey that led me to want to help women. I was at the lowest point in my life where I wasn’t able to talk to anyone that really understood what I was going through. I grew up as a Jehovah’s Witness and because I was so sheltered I didn’t really know the other side of my family.

After I left that life behind I was able to really figure out who I was but that meant that I had to let go of all the things from my childhood that was weighing me down. Thru many self help book, sessions with counselors and finding love in all the wrong places all that I really needed was inside me all along. Just telling women that is easier said then done. And I knew that if I had someone who was willing to sit me down and help me sift through all the muck it would have been a lot easier.

What need or needs does your company seek to fill for its customers?

I am here to provide a service of being the push you need to make any change in your life. Are you feeling stuck or lost? Are you feeling unmotivated about life? Do you just need a little extra push to live you best life? Are you stressed all the time? Worried about the past or the future and its hard to enjoy the present moment?

I can help with these things and many more through all the tools I have learned in my life and working with other clients that has raised the women out of the dark times into the light Goddess they always were. I'm just here to hold the mirror up and face the fears as we work together to let them go.

What is the one thing that sets your company apart from its competitors?

What sets me apart from others is Me and the love I give to the women I work with is something you would have to experience for yourself. I have this saying that I don’t choose my clients my clients choose me. We are all connected and I feel that the clients that I have worked with were at a point in their lives that needed the kind of love that I offer.

Also I have a special twist to the Life Coaching experience because I am intuitive as well. So I can really feel what it is your needing at the moment with out you needing to say anything. That’s where the Spiritual comes in. I'm connected to Spirit or the Universe and I use that to guide you thru your healing journey.

What was the biggest challenge you faced while getting your company up and running, and how did you overcome it?

My biggest challenge was myself. I had a fear of failure. I realized that the only thing holding me back from starting this company was me. I had all these excuses that I had in my head like if I had more money, more time, more experience I would be ready to start. But they were exactly that…excuses. Now I know that all I needed was me and my love for the Goddess to do anything I desired. All those other things would come as soon as I let that fear of failure go. That’s when the opportunities came pouring in.

Are there resources you have utilized that other founders might find compelling or useful?

Well I use Facebook as my way to connect with other like minded people. I also connect with other Life Coaches that are willing to give me advice here or there whenever I need it. And I have a mentor that also keeps me focused on my own well being while I take care of others.

What steps have you taken to secure funding for your company and what, if anything, would you do differently if you had to start over?

I use my own money for anything I do at the moment but I would do nothing differently. I believe that everything that I went thru to get to this point was exactly the journey I needed to take in order to serve my clients with the best me possible. I don’t have failures or mistakes I have lessons. And I learn from them and move forward.

Have there been any questions you have had as an entrepreneur of a fledgling startup that you had a particularly hard time finding the answers to?

I am very detailed oriented. I like to make sure everything is what it needs to be. I can plan things out in very little detail. But I couldn’t really find what you needed to actually start a business “the right way”.

What I learned is… there’s no one right way. You have to do what you are capable of doing with the resources you have. But the best thing to do is just start. Everything you need will come your way as long as you trust that it will.

What challenges, if any, are you grappling with?

I don’t really think of this as a challenge but a goal of mine is to reach more women who are ready to heal from their past, stop worrying about their future and start living their best life right now.

What is the most helpful tip or “hack” you’ve ever learned, stumbled across, or been given?

Don’t sweat the small stuff. If its stopping you from doing what you love then its not worth stressing over. And if your business starts to feel like a chore you may need to reevaluate the way you’re running your business..

Advice to female entrepreneurs…

We don’t have to run our businesses like some of our masculine counterparts. Putting in long hours, giving up time with our families, and running ourselves down to the ground.

If you start creating and moving within your own feminine energy you will be surprised how much you can get done by listening to what your mind body and spirit needs. Don’t forget to take care of yourself and you will notice how much more creative you will be.
