The purpose of the award is to honor women who generously volunteer on behalf of their communities. The funding source will make a donation on behalf of each Honoree to the charitable organization of her choice. L’Oréal Paris Women of Worth honors extraordinary women who selflessly volunteer their time to serve their communities. This signature philanthropic program embodies the L’Oréal Paris belief that ‘Every Woman Is Worth It’ by elevating women who find beauty in giving back. These non-profit leaders, the Women of Worth, each receive a financial grant to support their charitable cause, mentorship from the L'Oréal Paris network, and a national platform to tell their stories. Women of Worth will be invited to participate in an array of national conferences on volunteerism; post volunteer/community service tips and best practices on the Women of Worth website, blogs and social media channels; participate in key media events including photo shoots, vignette/commercial shoots and promotional videos; participate as a judge to select future Women of Worth Honorees and more.
